Strengthening identity, innovation and institutional sustainability
Mission-Driven Momentum focuses on strengthening Lenoir-Rhyne’s institutional foundation through clarity of purpose, academic innovation and strategic growth. This theme aligns mission, brand and strategy to support enrollment strength and long-term sustainability.
Goal
Increase enrollment revenue reflecting the impact of a stronger institutional brand, expanded academic innovation and improved market demand.
Priorities

PRIORITY 1:
Clarifying Lenoir-Rhyne’s Identity & Brand
Create a clear and compelling mission, vision and brand identity that will tell the story of Lenoir-Rhyne’s distinctive value proposition across all communications and stakeholder groups.
Initiatives
- Review and revise institutional mission and vision statements.
- Create tagline and institutional branding that will be used in all communications.

PRIORITY 2:
Strategic Enrollment Growth and Academic Expansion
Implement a strategic enrollment growth plan inclusive of academic programs, athletic programs, co-curricular and extramural programs that optimizes student enrollment for the next three years.
Initiative
- Create three-year plan by June 2026 for adding new programs that will contribute to new student recruitment at LR.

PRIORITY 3:
Transformational Partnerships and Business Models
Pursue transformational business models and affiliations with other institutions, health systems and employers to create new academic and experiential opportunities.

- Engage in market research regarding possible affiliations.
